Forensic Pharmacology explores the many links between drugs and forensic science, from drug-induced violence and crime to determining whether a person taking a certain medication is capable of standing trial for a crime, to the forgery of prescriptions. The reader is introduced to the daily work of the scientists, and the principles of pharmacology and toxicology, as well as the various classes and technical analysis of drugs of abuse. Lawrence Kobilinsky has contributed to Forensic Pharmacology as an editor. Series editor Lawrence Kobilinsky, Ph.D., is a professor of forensics at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a member of New York's Council for Science Education. He has been actively involved in introducing the study of forensics to the New York City school system's criminal justice program.
